Annual Events in "Little Bavaria"
The small-town charm and family-friendly spirit of Frankenmuth make “Michigan’s Little Bavaria” the perfect place to visit any time of year. No matter when you’re in town, you’ll find a colorful range of annual events, where you can mingle with friendly locals and soak up the “Frankenmuth experience!”
Listen to great Bavarian music, stay for the parade and take part in fun rides and a variety of delicious German foods and desserts. Of course, there’s also plenty of fantastic imported and domestic beer!
Every June, Frankenmuth's Main Street plays grand marshal to a Bavarian-style Parade complete with one-of-a-kind decorated floats, bands and street performers.
Featuring the works of skilled local artisans, these arts and craft shows are held in Zehnder Park or on Main Street behind Frankenmuth Historical Museum.
Join more than 2,500 runners on a course that winds past many of Frankenmuth's top landmarks. Festivities kick off on July 3 with food, entertainment and a fireworks display. Events include 20K, 10K and 5K runs, a 5K walk and a 2K "Fun Run."
What could be better than a day of family-friendly food, fun and festivities on the banks of the Cass River?
Head to the Harvey Kern Pavilion to quaff freshly brewed beer from over 20 nearby breweries. Live bands, dancing on a wooden floor and great food ensure a memorable time for all.
Watch antique fire trucks parade down Main Street while pumping boats send geysers of water high over the Cass River.

The quintessential German food and beer fest offers three days of Bavarian-style food, drinks and souvenirs. Located in the Harvey Kern Pavilion in Heritage Park on Weiss Street.
Stop by the Frankenmuth River Place Shops to feast on king crab, clam, lobster, BBQ chicken and beverages while enjoying live entertainment. Best of all? Admission is free!
It’s easy to scare up a good time at this scarecrow-themed Fall festival.
Located at Zehnder's Restaurant, this fun-filled winterfest includes snow sculpting and ice carving competitions, a children's area, fireworks, entertainment, a warming tent and more.
A perfect way to start the Christmas season. Free hot chocolate and cookies.
